christmas was wonderful!!!  Pat and I love going home to see our folks... we wish it would happen more often.  I love how west monroe was something i wanted to move away from so bad but how now i want to move back there or as close to there as possible because of my amazing family.  We both felt so at ease and seemed like we could be more motivated to get our buisness started even faster. It was hard to leave all of that behind knowing we were heading back to hotel life.  Hotel life so far, since we have been back, hasn't been that bad though because we have made the Laquinta a little home away from home and the people that work here have done a great job making it feel that way too.  New years eve was great too because it was mine and pat's first time that we were actually together for the big new year's eve count down  since my family always goes to Gatlinburg, Tennessee every year.  So we got to have our first new years kiss in the first year of our marriage... woohoo!  Man, there was so much that went on in the two weeks we were home that i can't fit it all in to a post.  i do have to give it up to ella and everett for being the cutest kids while opening their presents... especially everett since this was his first christmas to actually understand that it is stinking fun ripping open presents and seeing what they are... geez they were CUTE!

I just finished editing some pictures of my neighbors kids that i lived by in North Dakota and that i miss so much.  Jayla, who i just fell in love with, has such a sweet but sassy personality which makes for great pictures.  Her brother, Malaki, who was just born in october already has such a relaxed cool personality... just like his dad.  And Michael, he was full of energy and loved running all over the place.  This was my first time babysitting and also my first time having a photoshoot with kids.  It was actually really fun and a great experience.

Thanksgiving with a little site seeing...

Thanksgiving was a blast!!! Pat and I stayed in Denver and Amanda, Ella, Everette, and David came to visit for six days.  It was so nice being able to spend the holiday with family.  We had an amazing thanksgiving meal (thanks to amanda and patrick) which we ate just enough to feel a little full... haha yeah right, we ate past the point of full to the point of can't eat for the rest of the day or i will explode! That is what holidays are for.  So we also got to drive around in the mountains too and patrick took us to Buffalo Bill's grave which was nice but the coolest part about the place was the view.

It was incredible! So of course where a breath taking view is, pictures will be also.   we got some great shots and had lots of fun taking them.  The weather was absolutely amazing the whole week too.  The last couple of days that they were there we had a snow fall that was beautiful.

We went to a park and made a HUGE snow man or i should say david and pat made the snow man while the rest of us watched...

(pat named him jorge pronounced hor-hay). So yeah, like i said Thanksgiving was a success! Pat and I are so thankful for our family and LOVE them very much.  Now it is time for CHRISTMAS!!! goodbye colorado, hello Louisiana.
